SUP Yoga: restarts in spring / summer 2022
Launching this year from Warsash, as well as from River Hamble Country Park, SUP, SUP Yoga, Picnic – book your own private group to have fun on the river, working alongside Adventure 360
Private SUP Yoga lessons available – in groups or individually. Please contact Lorna directly to book these.
What to wear and what to bring: simply wear standard yoga clothes, preferably quick-drying, or shorts. Swimwear may be worn underneath; if it’s hot, you may want a dip afterwards! Flip-flops are ideal for slipping on and off easily. Bring a towel and a change of clothes… you never know! Also bring a water bottle. Do not bring valuables, including designer sunglasses (we’ve seen someone watch theirs sink) Car keys can be kept securely in dry bags on boards.
Wetsuits: these can be worn, but are quite restrictive, so we advise against them.
Buoyancy aids: these are cumbersome, so we don’t wear them for SUP Yoga. You need to be able to swim at least 50 metres in light clothing to take part in SUP Yoga. This is not suitable for non-swimmers.
Ask Lorna about small group and 1-2-1 stand-up paddle board tuition and SUP adventures on the River Hamble and along the South Coast. If you don’t have a board, we can rent you one. Book directly through Lorna, or via Adventure 360
Lorna will be working in conjunction with Steve from Adventure 360 to bring you SUP tours and adventures locally and in Dorset, to include day tours and camping tours. Go to Adventure 360 to find out more.
